HERB - rune inscribed salt clay

This was Caro (Carowyn Silveroak, mka Meredith Harmon)'s idea - I just went
with it! ;-)

I would take the salt clay and darken it with ground charcoal or ink so
that it looked stone-like. I would use one rune per "stone". I would then
use various rubs, inks, or tempra washes to make some stone varigations.
You could also use flocking (from the Hobby Store) to make pretend moss on
them if you really wanted to go nuts.

Antiquing them to look old would in general fit into the "whatever"
catagory. I was just thinking outloud and have not done such a project.
It just sounds very very cool! I would like to get a Christmas cracker
with a rune to predict my future ;-)
