The only other caution I would have regarding cornstarch is where you're 
dealing with a rash that could be yeast based.  When doing the multiple 
rounds of yeast infections on the butt after antibiotics with my kids, I 
would find that using cornstarch simply fed the yeast, and made the skin 
inflammation worse. SO, just be reasonably sure of what you're dealing with 
before you apply cornstarch.
