Absolutely! The best book that I know of on wound healing in general
is Guido Majno's "The Healing Hand: Man and Wound in the Ancient World ".
Use this book for a stunning secondary reference for wound therapy
and for specific information on honey use throughout the world.

Another good book with a decent chapter on the use of honey in particular
(excellent scholarship, bad citations though) is "Honey, Mud, Maggots, and
Other Medical Marvels" by Robert & Michele Root-Bernstein (I like them
because I've read their profession thesis-like articles and appreciate
their exacting scholarship). Use this book for a great and readable
treatment of the use of honey in medical history (the references in
the back of the book will point you to better secondary and primary
sources, but this one's eminently readable).
