HERB - RE: [HerbGrowing] mints

I agree, containment is key with mint.  I planted peppermint, spearmint and 
catnip fairly close together in my mother-on-law's yard, and they just vine 
and grow where they get sun.  They are three feet high now and taking an area 
about 5 feet by 3 feet and I don't even tend to them with water, they just 
grow.  I find borage does the same thing.  It may be more contained in a 
winter area, we live in Southern California.
