HERB - herbal garden spray?

Melandra,

One of my friends had suggested cayenne POWDER (not pepper) mixed with
water in a spray bottle and sprayed on the plants.  It washes off easily
and it won't hurt babies, cats, etc.  just tastes really bad.  Good luck.
