How old are they?   Have they been formally diagnosed?   I have heard too
many children being diagnosed with Hyperactivity, when they were being
perfectly normal - especially toddlers.  There is a study I heard about in a
class - A marine was given the task of shadowing a normal toddler and doing
exactly what the child did.   He was totally exhausted within less than an
hour, and the kid was still going strong.

Having said that, if they are truly ADHD, she might try giving them coffee.
My sister-in-law had twins who were ADHD, by the time they were three, the
DR prescribed coffee on a daily basis, and it had a wonderful effect.
It seems that studies have shown that with many ADHD people, caffeine has
the opposite effect - it calms rather than stimulates.
