HERB - research, the skin, and my lack of knowledge (long)

I approve of over-caution in a forum like this one.  When posting, I have 
put "caution labels" on herbs that I don't actually think of as dangerous -- 
I'd rather be safe than sorry, or at least give others the option of 
deciding for themselves!
