>Another good phrase is "for the length of a rosarie."
Know how long it takes to say the Catholic rosary? Today, I
think about 45 minutes based on what I've experienced at
Catholic funerals (someone correct me if I'm wrong, 'cause
I'm in NO way Catholic).

I was raised very Old Catholic (French Canadian). 12 yrs. of Catholic
School -- most of it by people who were convinced Mass in the Vernacular was
a Bad Idea.

When we say the Rosary today, it usually consists of going around all the
beads once. (5 decades of Hail Mary's, + the little dangly bit at the
bottom.) As the nuns who raised me would be quick to point out, THIS IS NOT
A FULL ROSARY. For the full deal, you have to do the thing 3 times.
(Thereby meditating on the Joyful, Sorrowful, & Glorious Mysteries, not just
one group.) I believe this would be more in keeping with what mideaval
sources meant when they refered to a Rosary. What this actually comes down
to in practice is about 3 hrs. -- give or take.

(As a Catholic, you get pretty good at saying those prayers really fast!)
