HERB - Woad and Oregano

One thing about the invasive nature of Woad: In some places such as
Washington state it is carried on the Invasive Weed lists. Lady Leticia
who is also a certified Master Gardener has worked with it a lot. She has
planted it in Renton WA ( the Barony of Madrone, An Tir), but works it very
carefully, she felt that she could only do so if she did not allow it to
go to seed.
She published a series of articles on Woad and its use as a dye in "An
Tir's Best Dirt" (Herbal Guild of An Tir newsletter). Those who are
interested can reach her at <avagard at halcyon.com>. (I don't think she
subscribes to this list.)
