Raisya kindly posted the URL for the archives, but if you
don't have web access, here's some additional information
that might help you.

The digest version of the list is the only version available and
the archives currently only go back one year. For example, the
current archives only go back to September of 1999. Next
month, the archives most likely will not contain September
of 1999, but will go back as far as October 1999.

If you need earlier messages, they are available from list
members directly, especially the retentive ones like me who
packrat old messages away in hopes of searching through them
again in the future when someone says "does anyone remember?"

If you'd like help retrieving files from the majordomo server,
I can help there too. Here is the command you must send:

    To: majordomo at ansteorra.org
    Subject:

    index herbalist-digest

What you'll get back from them is a list that looks, in part,
something like this (I've not included all of it because it's
long):

   From: Majordomo at ansteorra.org
   Subject: Majordomo results
   Reply-To: Majordomo at ansteorra.org

Now, say you want one or some of these files. I'll use the first two
shown above in the example. I'd send the following note to the same
above majordomo server:

      To: majordomo at ansteorra.org
      Subject:

      get herbalist-digest v01.n369
      get herbalist-digest v01.n369

And what you'll get is something that looks likes this, in part (at
least the beginning):

      From: Majordomo at ansteorra.org
      Subject: Majordomo file: list 'herbalist-digest' file 'v01.n369'
      Reply-To: Majordomo at ansteorra.org

So. Does this help? Any questions? Just remember not to request too many
files. There's a limit on the number or size you can get in any one day and
*your* mail server might groan.
