I have it. Bought three copies as a matter of fact. I'd like to speak to
the author's scholarship: excellent. When I was getting my master's
degree in communication, I read some of the Root-Bernstein's work.
The authors are actually Robert and Michele Root-Bernstein and they
are well-respected and oft quoted. I suspect the book was a fun thing
for them to do.

Very accessible book for the lay reader with just enough science thrown
in for people to understand the medical mechanism they are discussing.
I actually ended up getting my copies through my book club instead
of at the store. Very reasonably price. Gave a copy to my Papa for Christmas
and he loved it.
