[Herbalist] Ointments, proportions of

Help! Does anyone on the list have some suggestions for mixing ointments
and oils by volume rather than weight? So far I've discovered that 1 part
wax to 2 parts oil is TOO MUCH WAX. ;)

Also, Iasmin, could you repost your bruise balm recipe? Pretty please?
