From the BioNutritional Encyclopedia, I find:

Riboflavin "Needed for proper growth of cells that line the mouth which
helps prevent inflammation and sores." Rated "Strongest" in terms of
quality and results of research. (Their ratings, from best to worst,
are: Strongest, Substantial, Limited, Minimal and No Science.)

Clove "May act as a fungicide in root canal sealants and dermatological
preparations" and "May play a role in supporting the body's natural
defenses against bacterial growth during root canal surgery", both
Limited science.

Other than that, I'd recommend general immune system boosters - Vitamins
A, C and E, Zinc, Beta Glucans, Black and Green Tea, Garlic, Beta
Carotene, Trypsin.
