Hey folks, I received an email from the HL Lillias MacGuffin, Northern Regional Scribe, who is looking to travel to Houston with Lady Lilina Byrnes and her daughter for Oni-Con 2008.  She would like to know if anyone has crash space available to help make the trip down from Mooneschadowe a little more affordable.  If anyone can help her out, please email her at the address below.

Thanks,
Alden

Myself, and Lady Liliana Byrnes and her daughter Caer are going to be in Houston for Oni-Con 2008 over at the Hilton Americas Hotel, Friday December 19th through the morning of Sunday the 21st and are trying to find someplace more affordable to stay than at the hotel itself. We are trying to do the weekend on a more friendly SCA-style budget. (I put an offer out for people who might want to split gas and lodgings but that has not panned out to date).

I was wondering if it would be possible to put out the request to the Barony to see if anyone would be willing to put us up Friday and Saturday night? (And perhaps another person or two 'if' anyone gets back to me about a ride and crash space). As with most any SCA event, floor space or couches is more than adequate and would be most appreciated! We would probably be in late and out early both nights and of course clean and courteous. I wasn't sure if anyone in the populace might not be attending too since Anime fans and SCAdians seem to have a good deal of overlap.

If you know anyone who might be interested and willing to allow us space in their home, or if you could please spread the word I would very much appreciate it! We need to get this nailed down soon. If anyone is willing to offer, they can email me at macguffin at hailmog.org

with joy in service,
