The Houston Early Music organization is hosting 'Fretwork' on Jan. 17th, 2009.  Fretwork will be performing in celebration of Henry Purcell's 350th Birthday 'A fitting birthday tribute for England’s greatest baroque composer - England’s finest performing his songs and instrumental works. Fretwork, the viol consort, is joined by the radiant voice of mezzo-soprano Clare Wilkinson.'

Parking is often limited, carpooling is suggested. 
Prices run $30. for general admission, $25 for seniors (60+) and $10 for students with ID, free for children under 15.
