[Hou-announce] OT: Summer sessions at Houston Calligraphy Guild

For those interested in Calligraphy and willing to go outside the SCA, you maybe 
interested in the summer workshop sessions by the Houston Calligraphy Guild 
(HCG)  (http://calligraphers.org/index.htm).  

In the summertime, they run a calligraphy three-month summerstudy. 

This year, 2011, the class is on 'Italics', taught by Terry Hausner, 
professional scribe. 

The meetings are held on Saturdays, June 11th, July 9th and August 13th.  
Location at the Tracy Gee Community Center, off Richmond and Beltway 8 West.  
Time maybe at 9am, check with the site contact, couldn't find it on the website. 


Details are on the site, should be free to HCG guild members, but during the 
summer I think they welcome non-members.  

You need to bring Speedball C2 nib and holder, paper towels, ink container, and 
water holder.  Ink and paper provided.
