LR- Gulf War Report - Day Three

Greetings from back home!  ;-)

I am in posession of the Talon's ballista.  It looked a little on the small
side and I felt sure it would pass inspection as a light engine, but not a
heavy engine, soooooo  Bjorn took some of the money Caelin gave him to
finish virgil's 4 other ballistae(that still haven't shown up) and tweaked
the talon's ballista to a level I have deemed "cool"  :-)

The talon's ballista, although still a bungeelista, can be easily converted
into a tortion ballista.  It is of the stone throwing(palintonos) variety
and will be able to chunk not only ballista bolts but also 3TB and 4TB
rocks.  In other words, now we have a direct fire weapon capable of
disabling other ballistae.  yay for us!

Final assembly will need to be done Friday afternoon/evening after the open
field battles.  I will need to make use of some power tools and some
people's help, if possible.  I would have completed it here but I have
simply run out of time.


I have a Bio test at 5:30 this afternoon, as soon as I am out of the
test(figure 1 hr) we will be heading for war.  Expect us around 3 AM.
