[Loch-ruadh] Yule Revel Decorations

I think that both Bice and Madelina have made excellent suggestions for
table decorations.  Since expense is a mattter of concern for all of us, and
since we would not want any of the Loch Ruadh family to feel that they might
have to sit somewhere else (out of the question!),  I think that we should
leave feast gear to the individual families and concentrate on table
decorations.  The red cloth, cinnamon stick with ribbons seems very nice and
SCENTUAL(ha,ha).  Also, I think I might be able to come up with quite a
length of gold for the center.  Why don't you two ladies firm up some plans
and let the rest of us know about color, etc.....  I am sure that we all
have some compatable items to contribute to the scheme.  As soon as we know
if hurricane-type lamps can be used, we can decide about lighting.  By the
way, today I was in the Dollar Tree and saw those little, battery-operated
candles for $1.  The extra cost would be in purchasing the batteries, but it
might be an alternative to the real thing
