[Loch-Ruadh] Shire Wish List

Just a reminder post of those items that are desired for the Shire. If you
wish to donate something to the shire this is a good place to start.



Archery:
finger tabs, or gloves,
arm protectors, all sizes would be welcome,
arrow parts, feathers (no plastic Vanes), knocks, field points,
Young feather burner, or any other misc. archery related tools
strings or string making materials,
children's bows, up to 20 #'s, we have several at 30 #'s,
books about archery
any thing would be welcome new or used, please no camouflage prints unless
you already have them or find them at a very good price.

Seneschal:
New appliquéd banner with Shire device
Flannel backed table cloths for 6' X 30" tables (15)
Tool and/or decorate the scabbard for the Shire sword that was donated by
Laird Sean
Photos of events donated to the Historian's box
24 lb paper for printing reports and other necessary paperwork

A&S:
Fabric, paints, and brushes for banners
Pre-made banners or table covers
Gouache paints and 00 or 000 brushes for Illumination
Copy paper and binders for the upkeep of How-To references
Largess and or prizes for artisans and judges
Books, magazines, or catalogues related to period crafts and skills
Competition display accessories to loan to entrants in Youth A&S

Knight's Marshals:
rattan
strapping weight leather
sword baskets
shield baskets
duffle bags
1/4" plywood at least 2' X 3'
1/4" C channel

Chirurgeon:
new chirurgeon bag(s)
a Chirurgeon's banner so we can mark chirurgeon's point at our event(s)
a water bearer's  banner so thirsty fighters/populace can find liquids at
our event(s)
Misc. sundry items (like band-aids, tape, hot/cold packs, etc)

Herald:
Crayola Markers, Classic Colors
File Folders
20 Weight Paper for Submission Forms
Books from the approved no photocopy list or the recommended list for
name/device submissions (long list, contact herald if you want a copy of the
list)

Chronicler:
Colored paper for covers, etc - 24lb to 30lb
(prefer regular red and yellow, not pastels or neons)
Manila file folders - size to hold 8 1/2x11 sheets
Artwork!  Original or clipart, covers, borders, incidental art, etc.
1st class stamps to mail complimentary copies to Kingdom/Regional Officers

Hospitaler:
Cloth (3 yards per piece minimum)
Thread (standard sewing machine or serger)
any extras you might not need anymore or find at a good price such as:
pouches
belts
garb
hats
feast-ware (no small bowls - we have plenty of those!)

Rapier Marshal:
Linen, all cotton canvas or bottom-weight fabric 3 yard pieces
Small pieces of ¼" plywood 1' x 1' preferred
Duct Tape (colored)
Rabbit blunt archery tips
