Take Back the Night - Rally, March and Candlelit Vigil

    Saturday April 22

    6pm - 8pm

Meet at the 5-pointed Star in the West End by the intersection of N. Lamar
and Woodall Rogers Freeway E.

People from all over the metroplex will be unified in civil demonstration
against gender violence and sexual violence - specifically violence against
women.  The rally will codify what Take Back the Night means and symbolizes.
Marching through the West End in downtown Dallas, our signs and chants will
force people to recognize this problem of social injustice.  Lastly, after the
march ends at Dealy Plaza, there will be time for speakers to share their
experiences and inspirational words.  It will end with a candlelit moment of
silence for all the ones we have lost to the injustice of gender violence -
more specifically male violence against women.

We need your support to make sure we get as many people out as possible.  If
you can bring your own signs, please do.  But most importantly, be there.
