[Loch-Ruadh] Land Trip

I need to label the ones I took as well. I'll try to get them posted to
Photobucket tonight or tomorrow.

Aside from a huge pile of tree debris at the corner of Queen's Highway and
Duvant Circle, our land is clear. That pile along with many others along
the roads on the site are supposed to be removed by FEMA before Gulf Wars.
We even got rid of the stumps of the two trees that came down on our
land, thanks to Rolf and his chainsaw - though the second stump gave us a
bit of trouble. ;-) The removal of that stump is worthy of at least a
story, and maybe even a song. There is an abundance of firewood cut and
stacked, though some of it will need to be split, and plenty of fallen
trees at the treelines that will not be removed, and can be cut up for
more firewood.

There are no significant holes or ruts to trip the unwary camper in the
dark, though there are still many of the annoying ground vines to catch
the foot. I'm not sure we will ever be completely rid of those, no matter
how many of them we pull up. There will very likely need to be some
raking and smoothing done in the area where the debris pile is now
sitting, but other than that, the land is ready for us to set up on as
soon as we get there. The corner posts look great, very much like great
stone pillars, and made us all wish that we had been able to work on the
actual gate as well.
