After long and careful consideration, Lord Thomas the Grey has reluctantly decided to step down as Hospitaler of the Shire of Loch Ruadh. Due to work and school demands on his time, he does not feel that he can devote the time to the Office that he believes it requires to do it properly. I respect his decision; he has done an excellent job as our Hospitaler, but I have always believed that family, life and work needs should take precedence over what we do in the SCA.
The Hospitaler's Officer is therefore open for applications, and will
remain open until Officer's Meeting, Wednesday, 21 April 2010. Applications
should be submitted to the Central Regional Hospitaler, Lady Sarah di Rimini, central at hospitiler.ansteorra.org, to Lord Thomas, hospitaler at lochruadh.org, and to me, seneschal at lochruadh.org. Check the Black Star and the
Scarlet Letter for mailing addresses if you wish to send hard copies. As with any Office,
you must be a paid member to be considered for this Office.
Remember to include copies
of your membership card, and a photo ID (such as a driver's license)
with the identification number obscured.
The Application for
Office form can be found at: http://seneschal.ansteorra.org/forms/ApplicationJan08.pdf
Please contact me or Lord Thomas if you have any questions.
