Loch Yule is rapidly approaching. Have you adequatly prepared yourself as either a member of one of the many 'Privateers' or as a fine upstanding citizen of the Loch? Here's a list of the details to help you get ready.

Date: Saturday, December 4th, from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. Anyone there early will be part of the set-up crew, and anyone staying late will be part of the clean-up crew!

Site:Clear Lake Park, where the Loch has their monthly populace meetings.

Competitions: Chivalric list; Rapier list; Golf; Spear throw; (and maybe a Boar hunt); Best table setting for both a regular Yule theme AND best Pirate table; Costume competition; Piratize-your-banner competition. (That does NOT mean steal someone else's banner!) And the ever popular Dessert Competition. Pirate loot is available for all of the winners.

Other activities: Childrens' Activities will run from 10:00 - 12:00. And bring your stocking to hang by our fireplace with care! Okay, it's actually going to be Ulsted's weapon's rack, but we'll try to be careful with it. Also please bring trinkets or goodies to put in the stockings! Bards are always welcome, especially if they are performing pirate pieces. :-)

The site in Clear Lake Park opens at 10am. Baroness Neassa promises fun activities all day, to be followed by a delicious Russian feast, planned by Lady Lisabetta. Site and feast are only $5.00 total. [No non-member surcharge (NMS)]. For more information, see the Loch's website: loch-soilleir.ansteorra.org/yule/index.htm.
