[Loch-soilleir] Heraldic Consultation Night

Guten Tag,

  The theme to the September Heraldic consultation night is.....  (dramatic
music...cue the lights):

Fluff and Stuff (otherwise known as achievements and augmentations).  This
is going to be centered around getting the crests and livery and mottoes and
supporters (or banners and flags) hashed out and ready to be registered.
Although many people think that only the royal family and nobility can have
all of this cool stuff that is not so.  Anyone with an AoA can have at least
SOME achievements added to their arms the two MUST HAVES are a registered
name AND device. So, if you haven't done that we an work that part as well.
The higher your rank the more fluffy stuff you get however and there are
some restrictions.  So, if you've been thinking about the fact that you've
never worked on this but you'd like to...this is your chance.  I will have
plenty of forms and pencils on hand and my trusty and ever vigilant deputy
has even found a book not in our own heraldic library with some great
examples of what can be done.
It is two weeks until heraldic night so start thinking about what you'd like
to have and get some ideas together.  Then bring them with you and we will
have a grand night of fun!  For more information on achievements you can

Oh, by the by...no drawing required so that is no longer a reason to not
have some fun with this.
