Greetings again,

It is with a glad heart this evening that I let y'all on the list know that in my small abode in Alvin we have power. My husband, Jake, a police officer in Alvin, has given me the okay to come home tomorrow. I am looking forward to getting home and helping those in Alvin that still do not have power. Regarding Lady Kathryn and Lord Dale, ironically, I was speaking to my husband this evening when he was entertaining them at our house. He did say that they are still without electricity and water, which is difficult, but they are okay. I will inquire as to the horses, but since there were sounds of happiness in the background during the phone call, I will assume all is well. They will probably be using our home in the next few days for some necessities and I will welcome the opportunity to help my neighbors.

School districts are closed for the most part and electricity coming back on is totally random. One house will have it and 5 others won't. Best thing is to keep checking with people in your neighborhood that stayed. Or if that isn't possible, call your local non-emergency number or your electrical provider (ours is reliant) to find out your home's status. I'm sure they can connect you with someone who can help. I know how hard it is to sit and do nothing, but God listens when you pray for miracles...and so many are praying for us here in Houston :). Surely something miraculous is bound to be happening.

Glad to be going home where I can help,
Anita & Isaac (Isabel Hawksworth of the Loch)
