[Loch-soilleir] Thank you's for Loch Soilleir's It's only a Flesh Wound Yule!

I just have to say:



I am STILL basking in the joy and happiness that our Yule celebration
brought to me on Saturday.



It was so much fun to watch the little ones playing golf and to hear that
Aiden was the winner of the day!



Seeing his Excellency William dressed as a shrubbery was truly something I
don’t think I will EVER forget and he was most worthy of the prize for the
Best Costume!  All the costumes were just awesome!  We even had the
absolute CUTEST little killer bunny-rabbit ever.



The Spate’ (I know I am not spelling it correctly) was a culinary delight
made by Kevin Dorsey (and I apologize that I don’t remember your SCA name).
There were so many wonderful and imaginative entries for the Best Dish made
with SPAM contest.  I apologize that I do not recall the names of the 2
runners up.  (BAD BAD autocrat!)



Then there were the winners of the Pram Race, Wissa and Alexis.  If any of
you missed seeing that competition, let me say; you REALLY missed out!  It
looked fun and was fun to watch!



HL Delphina took the prize for the Best Dessert and I have to tell
you…ya’ll ALMOST didn’t get any once I got a taste of it.  You’re just
lucky I shared!  ;-)



Set up and take down was SO easy thanks Madog and Brylce, William and
Lessa, Cael and Rhiannon, Delphina, Leofric and our new folks Janet, Jack
and Patricia, HG Ebegardis and several folks from the Shadowlands!  I wish
I knew all your names.  THANK YOU!!!



And did I mention the FOOD!!  I’m still wishing I could have tried
everything that was there!  We have a lot of great cooks in the Loch.  Thank
you to HG Ebegardis for making sure it all went off without a hitch.



HL Delphina, thank you for the recorder lessons.  It looked like everyone
was having a fun time!



Avatar, thank you for the music!!!  Especially the bagpipes, my personal
favorite.

I know I have forgotten people and please forgive me for that as well as
