Well, I already have plans for the evening. So if it starts THAT late, then
I won't be able to help. Not sure if that's a good thing or not tho.

The work weekend will be held at Cellach and Annais's, at west 48th and
Tecumseh. If I recall correctly, we're supposed to start around 5:30 or
6, but they should be replying soon, also.

Isn't that kind of late?
At that point, we'd only have a few hours of
sunlight left, right?

The idea is to beat the heat. We're going to be painting black storms
on the yellow poles, and with a stencil to mark them, it shouldn't take
too long, especially if we have a lot of people helping. The tents need
to be spread out to see what, if anything, needs to be fixed or
reinforced. After that, depending on what needs to be done and the
number of people, we'll either hand stitch the reinforcements or refold
to take inside for machine sewing.

Afterwards, the last I heard is that we'll be having a party until they
kick us out.

Sounds good to me.
I have a sewing machine, unfortunately it needs
realigning before I can offer it's use. Right
now, I am using my sister's machine and I
wouldn't feel right offering it.

That sounds like the Avery I remember! ;)
I remember Avery when he was still in diapers, back in the lost Shire of
Morrows Keep.
So any word on his Mom and Stepdad?

I think we've already got a couple of machines lined up. If there's much to
sew, or it's very far from the edge, it will probably be just as easy to do
by hand if we've got the people there.

Sorry Linda, Annabelle. Our local internet connection is giving us fits. We
had planned to start in the evening, however, since much of the work can be
done inside, would you guys like to start earlier? I'm certain that we can
come up with some drop cloths, etc. for the painting. (there is only a bit
left to do).

And, yes, there is a party afterward. Lord Barat, et al, will be bringing
booze, so, it should be great!

As for the start time, I'd rather do it when it's convenient for everyone.
If you have a preference, please let me know! We can stagger this, by the
way. We don't all have to show up at precisely the same time.

Thanks,
