I mentioned a few weeks ago that we were thinking of having a bonfire/revel out at the farm for my birthday (Aug. 16th).  We're not one of those families that has to celebrate on the exact day of the birthday, so what weekend in August is good for everyone?
 
Who would like to come out?  What activities would you like?  Music? (remember, we are out in the boonties, so noise is not much of an issue).  Someone said something about scouting a location for a fort?  
 
I'm thinking, since August is so hot, we'll want something nearer to evening, and, again, bring your mosquito repellant.  And we'll need to do this on a Saturday as the kids start school on the 17th and have football scrimmages every friday night.
 
I'll need some idea of who wants to come so we can plan for refreshments.  I'm not looking for presents, but if you feel you have to bring something, I'd love anything SCA related or just bring something to feed the hungry horde that night...lol.
 
That's all I can think of...so, just let me know.
