FYI, 

we have recieved many donations at the library of chapstick, beef jerky, wipes, sunglasses, deoderant, etc....

We are also in desperate need of SHOE BOXES for packaging.  I will bring my suburban to populace so that we can bring everything back to the library and we'll have a day set for anyone who wants to help sort and pack in the shoe boxes and then we'll pack em all up in larger boxes for shipment.

The ladies at our local post office are thrilled that we're doing this, as are families in Maysville who have children serving or those who just came home.  I've been told by the post master to make SURE we ship the packages in VERY sturdy boxes.  I have been permitted by our postmaster to see the results of inappropriate packaging coming IN from Iraq.  It's not pretty.  These things go through a LOT of heavy handling getting back and forth from here to there.  SO, anyone working at walmart or somewhere like that might check on getting some STURDY shipping boxes donated.....
