Hello, ‘tis I, the StuCA (Student’s for Creative Anachronism) secretary! I'm still working on updating the StuCA calendar for this new school year. I am starting from scratch. I will only be adding events that are StuCA or SCA-related. If you are aware of an event that falls under either of these categories, please email me with the following specific information:

Title: (i.e. Student's For Creative Anachronism Meeting, Gulf Wars, Namron Baronial Fighter Practice, etc.)

Event Type: (i.e. Meeting, Class, Club Event, etc.)

Date: (Month, day. For repeating events, just give the closest date that the event falls on, and then tell how often the event repeats, i.e. Every third Tuesday, First and Third Thursdays, etc.)

Time: (Starting time of event (when site opens for the weekend events, when the meeting or class starts, etc.) and how long the event should last.)

Location: (Address, room, place, etc. where event is being held. If it is being held at someone's home, please give the name of the generous person.)

Event Discription: (What's going on? What kind of Class?...)

Contact information for the person/group hosting the event: (Name, Telephone (note when you do not wish to recieve calls))

Directions to Location: (This is optional, but preferred as many of StuCA's members are new to the area and may or may not know how to find their way about. They cannot participate if they can't find where things are being held!)

Any fairly local events (i.e. Namron, Skorragardr, Wiesenfeuer, and Mooneschadowe) that appear in the Black Star will be listed in addition to any Namron and Skorragardr Demo’s that I know about, since the main contacts that many of the students will have will be with Namron and Skorragardr.

Events listed in the September Black Star Calendar are already in the process of being added to the StuCA calendar.

The following events are already being added as well (Email me with any corrections):

Namron’s Populace Meetings- First Wednesday, third Thursday of the Month, 7:00pm Currently at Reave’s Park (will change to Buzz’s as soon as I get the word that the location has changed)
Scribal Night- Lady Danielle de Marseilles Home, 720 Vicksburg, Thursdays 7:00pm *Need a phone number please!
Namron Baronial Fighter Practice- Reave’s Park, Sundays at 2:00pm unless over 90° or below freezing and not raining ALSO Non-populace Tuesdays beginning at 6:00pm
Charter/Scroll-Painting Night- Non-Populace Wednesdays at Moo Manor (1120 Sparrow Hawk Dr.) at 7:00pm *Need a phone number please!
Newcomer’s Meetings- First Tuesday of the month at Isobel de Kirkbryde’s home, 429 Dakota, (405) 364-0270, beginning at 6:00pm
   Cook’s Guild- HL Tadgh’s home, 1849(?) Burnt Oak Dr. 5:00pm, alternating Sunday’s

The above are things that I have been assured are still happening, I do apologize if you are hosting something and it is not listed above. This is why I am asking that members email me. That I might provide those students interested in all that we offer during the months an up-to-date calendar. Eventually I plan to post links to maps to the locations where things are regularly held; this is why I requested the addresses and other contact information.

The sooner I have the requested information, the sooner I can send these eager students your way!

Thank you for your help,

Lady Ethne Halldorsdottir, StuCA Secretary
