Chas, that's just an ignorant bully.  You should have just to told her that wheel chairs have been around a long...long time...
 
AND...I would have told her that, if she felt that way, she should no longer utilize her 21st century mode of transportation to arrive at the event.  
 
People like that really burn me up....there's an idea....BURN THE WITCH!  That's a period pastime!
