[Namron] SCA cooks.

If you really want to know more.....

I can invite you over to watch us slaughter and dress a cow.
We'll be doing as soon as I have room in the freezer, since she
has jumped the fence three times in the last week, causing
me too much work..... or I can provide photos or video.

Anyone want to try and veggie tan leather? A green hide will cost
$40. Need bones to make hilts? Rib bones to make period
spoons or buttons? Want fresh heart, liver, tongue,
sweetbreads, or oxtails?

If any group wants to pay fair market value, I'll help you
load up a live cow to take to your event. You can roast a
whole cow, just like they did in the dark or middle ages.
(I prefer to kill it a couple of days in advance, for better flavor,
especially during the colder months, but it's your cow).
You also (with a live one) get hoofs for making glue or dog
toys, hide, head and horns, and all sorts of useful fiddly bits...
and you can let the kids pet it and feed it until you are ready
to use it, so it could be a MOC project, a leathercrafters guild
project and a cooking project.....

Caius
( who has spend three days fixing fence and hates cows today )
