A patch will work if you sew it down all the way around - ideally using the satin stitch on your machine but that does make the pocket unusable..... but you can sew it down by hand.

        I actually found overalls for Brigetta at Atwooods!!
        This is something,odd I know, she really wanted for Christmas.

        They are obvoiusly boys overalls. Does anyone have a computerized computer that can stitch a horse onto the front pocket?  I have discovered that patches just don't work.
