I don't think anyone issaying we shouldn't use the list to pass on information.  Only that the officialdiscussion of issues that affect the Barony, such as where to have futuremeetings, would be at populace meeting.  It doesn't make sense to have adiscussion at populace meeting and have everyone give their reasoning and thepros and cons of each decision, only to turn around and have that exact samediscussion on the list.  If you have strong feelings on the matter at handand you can't make it to that populace meeting, then I can only suggest askingsomeone else to convey your message for you, or contact the Seneschal ahead oftime.  Believe me; I understand not being able to make it to populacemeeting.  For a long time, my work had me out of the state for months at atime, and I'm sure decisions were made in the Barony when I had no chance togive my input.

Again, no one is against spreading information via the list.  And I thinkour Seneschal has done a very good job with that considering how quickly theweather can change around here.  We just don't want to have to duplicateevery discussion and repeat the same considerations over and over.
