There is no anger in Buffers it is fun and teaches kids safety. So they do not go out and use sticks as swards behind the adults backs.

Yea for the Rootbeer Brewers Guild and the Junior Baronial Honor Guard.

One of the goals Mike and I have for the Barony is to be more inclusive of the children in SCA activities -- more than classes and MOC activities. Along that line, we would like to invite Alan (I don't know his SCA name if he has one) to be a Jr. Baronial Guard. He impressed Mike and I at the showing of Joe's movie and we think he would do a wonderful job.

  clapclapclap happy happy Pooky!

MoC activities ergo crafts are good for the 4.5-9 year olds. There still into crafty craft makin' things.
Classes are good for oh 9-14 years olds cause they are old enough to be influenced by educational thingy things.
Boffer is good for the ages permitted to do so cause they are ready to learn to control how their emotions effectuate behaviors and wackin each other (I am told) is good preparation for defending our Kingdom. I'm not into promoting aggression in children, it's not the point I'm trying to get across to the kid's or the parents. Fortunately Saemundr the Pure (JUST coined that) understands the value in Boffer more then I and has I believe been OK'd to be Namron's boffer Marshal so if that's true He'll be all over the Boffer stuff. I heard the kingdom is hot for more boffer to occur. Hopefully someone will slowly explain to the Pooky the philosophies behind boffer so I can wrap MY head more comfortably around it. (not mandatory)
I'd like to see A&S projects being produced by the kid's and celebrated by the grown-ups. Ya'll know I'll help anyone get what needs to be done... done so explain it to ME and I'll interpret it through the language of Pookaneez to the kids and get them excited about it.
We could get them brewing root beer. Plenty oh brewers in Namron. I'm 60-40 in MY opinion on this one if we can keep them from learning the word "alcohol" or the existence there of I'd be a whole lot more comfortable. I'll create a new badge for the class if the Kingdom MoC doesn't baulk at the idea.

I don't take credit for these ideas. I don't feel I have the right to reveal their source. I do take responsibility for there implementation. I do accept full culpability for MY opinions.

Any other ideas anyone can come up with or are willing to brain storm, I would be most interested in hearing about.
(MY prose do sound a lot like Yoda + a preposition....hmm.) I'll try again.
I would be very interested in hearing any other ideas anyone is willing to brain storm. 206-1227

I'm still learning the language form of you Hu-manns.
