The library will also send all of these things out in the mail.  He can also 
manage his account on line if he has access to a computer or help with this. 
Unfortunately things still come on tape and he may need help flipping the 
tape over at regular intervals.

If he is interested in non-fiction and more academic topics, there is also 
Recording for the Blind.  There number is 800-221-4792.  There is a small 
set up fee, and they do not provide the equipment, but they do have books in 
electronic formats to loan out..
