[Namron] Update on Andreas

Andreas was moved to a nursing facility yesterday. (30 October) It is
a temporary move, but he will probably be there at least a month,
although by the looks of the place hopefully he will get out of there
sooner than a month! His room had no air conditioning. He is sharing
a room with a man that is almost totally deaf and likes to listen to
talk radio, and it's loud!! There is not TV in his room, although he
is allowed to have a small TV in his room if he can find one. There
is no phone to his room either.

Anyhow, Andreas could really use some visitors. He is very upset
about his situation. His strength is getting a little better in his
legs and he has a little better strength in his hands. He still can
not write. He can not feel the pen and his hand shakes too much just
trying to hold onto the pen. The hospital had built up some foam and
tape that is about 1 1/2" in diameter with a hole in the center to
insert his eating utensils so he can feed himself. He has not been
able to read, which, as you know he is an avid reader who can finish a
dozen books in a week, it has been really hard for him to accept. He
cant read because he cant get a hold of the pages to turn them, nor
can he hold the book for very long before his hands start to hurt.

If anyone has something that would help him hold books to read, that
would also be much appreciated.

Andreas is at Grace Living Center
Wildewood
1913 NE 50th,
OKC, OK 73111.

Visiting hours are from 8 to 8.

His meal times are: Breakfast 7am
Lunch 12 pm
Dinner 5pm
You can join him for a meal. Guest trays are $1.25 each. (No word yet
on quality of food).

For more information you can contact me and I will relay what
information I have available.
