member of The Guard to extract it.  Luckily for him, Ithrael thought quickly
enough to grab a table for a weapon.  If he'd come at her bare handed he
wouldn't have had time for the quick getaway.

  And how do you break your nose unloading tables?  I can see your finger,
or your hand, or even an ankle if you trip or something.  But your nose?
How is that possible?

  I suspect a plot.  They've only got a month to go, and someone is trying
to take out the Baroness to make sure they don't finish their reign.
