[Namron] Songs of Namron?

Definately, and I want to help as much as I can, and not just for the selfish reason that I want to learn some of this stuff myself....no sireee! lol~

So you owned a music store! That's awesome! I'm in the process of loading all my discs on my computer so that I can have them available for my MP3 player. (My wonderful hubby gave me a 30 Gig Zen for Valentines this year! YAYYYYY) I'm less than 1/4 the way through and I've already loaded 326 albums on to my hard drive...I've got a LOOOONG way to go!

One thing I'm doing is trying to collect folk and world music to find traditional songs as well as trying to learn original SCA music. Since I live a bit further away than most of the Namronions I don't get up to the bardic circles as much as I'd like.

Maybe we could compare notes and track lists to see if there's anything we could help each other with?

M'lady,
I mentioned the Ansteorra song book because that's the only written work I
have found so far. I love music (even owned a music store for many years)
but except for what I heard at Axeman I haven't heard much music making or
bardic since. I'd love to hear and learn some songs and stories of Namron.
Lord Pooky is really on to something here.

David

Hey I was at that bardic Circle! And yes, I know about that site, but
what we're doing is collecting music/songs/stories that are specially
related to or by folks from Namron.

But that IS a great site...and don't feel bad about not knowing the songs.
I've been playing for 4 years now and I'm still learning as well!

Hope to see you at Beltane

Sami
