I agree.

I''ve found myself angry at people who MIGHT have done it. I have no
basis of course, but rampant emotional speculation coupled with a
soaring imagination make possible the creation of believable (to me)
scenarios for each and every one of you.

Seriously, there seems to be two possibilities here:
1) someone has a legitimate reason
2) someone just wants to stir up dung

If someone has a legitimate reason, I wish they would have publicly
said so, or at least have discreetly spoken to an officer so we could
be assured that malice was not intended. Now that we're all angry, I
doubt anyone will own up to this, even if their reasoning was
legitimate. Speaking discreetly to an officer still offers a chance
for the person in question to reduce the hurt feelings and suspicion
here.

If someone is just trying to cause trouble, let us deny them their satisfaction.
