[Namron] Arts and Sciences Documentation Question

There is no reason to fear embarassment, well unless you are Master Aethelstan! Frankly, I do not detect embarassment in his missive, more a sense of pride....am I wrong here Master:):):)

This is REALLY all about learning and taking your art to the next level through using the good critique you receive to improve.

It is also about seeing other folks' work to see what is being done out there in the arts. How can this help you improve? You can find something new to try, you can learn new techniques, you can see new ways to do documentation or presentation of your work at a competition, you can find folks with similar talents to learn from. The experience is nailbiting, excruitiating, and wonderful all at the same time!

Have fun...stop and say hello tomorrow.

Thank you much for the information, as I do hope to not embarrass myself by performing incorrectly in any arena of the SCA.

Indeed yes, citations and a bibliography are elements of good documentation. The citations if necessary and the bibliography "a must". For those of you without much experience in entering A & S, please allow me to "plug" a class I will be offering at King's College. It is a 2-hour class on entering A&S, how to write documentation etc. It will also include a round table with some Laurels who have lots of judging experience to talk about what they look for. The class will be on Saturday from 2-4. Also HL Hannah is offering a class on presentation of your entries right before my class. Melisande

Another question, would it be appropriate to use citations and a reference page? (This is more out of curiosity and inexperience in these matters.)

Quick question concerning Documentation for Arts and Sciences entries:

When documentation is presented along with the entry, your name should be left off said documentation, correct?

Thanks,
