Subject: [Namron] beltane info.

well i will def. be going to Beltane, but just a few things I need to know. Is the archery on both Sat. and Sun? Is the admission fee for both SCA members and non or just non SCA members. And if i want to take part in thrown weapons I can bring my own spear but alas I have no knives or throwing axes of my own.. will there be some loner gear? And if you camp there to you pay the admission fee only once or everyday. just a few questions I had.

Many years ago the caber toss was introduced to Namron at a Beltane. There was a hand down prize that was a small(?) 6"x10"x1/4" leather favor with a yellow shield stitched on with copper wire, It had a black tornado attached to it with a pewter Scotsman tossing a caber on it . It has been missing for some time It would be nice to get it back to continue handing it down, Some where in a armor bag, garb box, or on some wall. It would be nice to see it come home.

I was the winner of the caber toss last year at Beltane but there was no 
hand down prize so it would have been prior to that.

There will be an accomplished 16 year old horse rider at Beltane that
is wondering if there will be horses at Beltane. Maybe an opportunity
to get authorized?

Lord Giles Wiley is presently being convinced by his dear Lady wife to
hold/run/do a 15-30minute magic show to entertain children (of all
ages).

I have 2 confirmed for the seneschalette class: Lord Giles Wiley and
Lady Sybil Strangeways.

I believe that Arthur Blackmoon of Northkeep was planning on attending
