Notes from Populace meeting on Feb. 17 at the Norman Public Library.
If there are any corrections/additions/deletions needed, please
contact Jacqueline and I will amend the notes.

Baron Donnchadh & Baroness Muriel:

1. A Medieval Experience: Medieval lecture series--brochures were
handed out. The series will be presented on March 7, 9, 24, 31 &
April 18. For more information call 288-2536.
2. GW registration--It is now the last minute. On-line registration
ends tomorrow, Feb. 18. After you register, please let Baron
Donnchadh know your tent size.
3. It's time to prepare for GW & Med Fair. These events will soon be
upon us.
4. Baron Donnchadh threw out the idea of doing a gate shift at GW.
Gate shifts are 6 hours long and we would need a minimum of 7 people
there. Or, if we could get 14 people, we could split up the shift
into two 3-hour shifts. Contact our Baron, if you are interested.
5. There will also be a vigil at GW for HL Melisande. She is being
elevated to the order of the Laurel.
6. The new pavilion is in now. It has custom daggs in the shape of a
storm. Wolfgang and Donnchadh will be preparing the poles (sanding,
staining, etc) for the pavilion at Donnchadh's house tomorrow night &
Thursday night. If you can help, please come by.
7. There will be a brewing competition at Beltane. This year, there
will be some rules for the competition and Miles Grey will be posting
them sometime soon.

Chronicler (Ithrael):

1. Plumes were available at the meeting.
2. If you have anything to submit to the Plume, please send it to
Ithrael @ ithrael at gmail.com.

Treasurer (Lucas): Not present this evening. However, he did report
to me that we still have over $9,000 in the bank, but that will change
soon because of the purchase of the new pavilion.
Herald (Adelheid): Not present this evening. No new business at this
time.

A&S Minister (Veronique):

at Kingdom A&S!

want to enter. We would like to see someone from Namron win the

Barat & Jacqueline's home in Moore, OK and it runs from 6:30ish until

time.

Archery Marshal (Ulf):

  1. Practices are on Sundays.
2. The archers were thinking about having a possible archery event,
but the plans have changed now. The date they wanted conflicted with
Moonschadowe's event. There were considering having a ladies shoot &
children's shoot. Will be more info. later on this subject.
3. Ulf is getting ready to put in another order for shafts, feathers,
etc. Call him, if you want to get in on this order.
