If you can't find a sitter, feel free to bring them.  Bring something they can play with or work on, or encourage them to join in and learn a craft themselves.  Most of us are more than willing to demonstrate whatever we're doing.

On the other hand, I understand wanting time to yourself, away from the kids.

Thanks for the in-fo. I actually have 3, my youngest is a boy of 7, my middle is a girl of 9, and my oldest is 13. I am planning to use SCA "Mom's" night(s) out. I have been focusing a lot of energy on kids for years and now it is time for me to get some playtime! Hazah!

Where is the Hidden Castle?  I am hoping to get a sitter and (if needed) use borower garb.
