[Namron] Armor Question

I started with a Great Helm.  Eye slits change your game and that is certain. Speak with Ramirez as well. If I'm not mistaken both of his helms are slitted.

I've never used one. But, if it's a traditional sallet I would image the bevor is almost mandatory to be field legal...or some other chin protection. Is this the slit style sallet? I've heard some people complain about the visibility in those. Others just except it as the price of looking good on the field.
