Wolfgang,
I would completely agree. It is very last minute. I say we continue preparations
for Gulf Wars and Med Fair and just plan on attending the parade next year when
we will (hopefully) have more notice.

It has come to my attention in a rather unfortunate way that I need more
arrows.. I have looked around the web, and found different suppliers of both
finished arrows, as well as raw materials.  I yield to the experience of our
fine Archers.. you know.. the ones that hit the target more often then not..
and, well.. for the ones (like me) who miss the target more often than not..
we need arrows too..
so my question is.. in your experience, in quality, service, and pricing..
what are some of the preferred merchants (on the web and off) that you turn
to for your gear?
I'm looking primarily for shafts for a 35-40# bow, fletching (already have a
jig), points, etc.  I'm going for period shoots, so not too terribly worried
about nocks (though, to start off with, might get some just to get on the
range)..
thanks for the assistance
