I agree, it's not that much harder to pack for than a weekend event. You need more clothes, and take more food or plan on going shopping at least once for food. There is a food court, and the meal plan being worked on, also.

We understand, it is a big planning activity and it does take time to
get things ready, organized, packed, and ready. And even with all of
that we still forget stuff:-) The good news is that we rarely forget
anything of any real importance! There is a WalMart that is north of the
site in the last main town we come (Hattiesburg, MS) to and most people
stop there to get last minute items or we go unload and then someone
takes a list of things and goes back to get stuff. It is a bit of a
drive (30 miles) so we don't go there very much.
The good news is that a number of people have been many times and they
can give GREAT advice and help on what you really need. We also have a
packing list showing some of the stuff that you might want to take. The
best thing I can say is to start a packing list and sit down and think
about the things that you want to be sure you take and be sure to add
them to the list. Also think about things that you want to take but do
not have yet and figure out if you can make them, borrow them, or buy
them. Many of us are getting together on a pretty regular basis to work
on stuff already. You can find the planning page from the Namron site
where there is a link for Gulf Wars Planning near the top left and here
is a direct link for things to take.

It is a BLAST! We have lots of fun, there are classes and fighting and
things going on all day everyday. Then at night we have dinner, visit,
do bardic, walk to different camp areas, and see more people with no
worries about next day ... it will be there when we get up:-)
It really is a lot of fun and is not nearly as difficult to plan for and
pack for as you might think.
