[Namron] MEDIEVAL FAIR DIRECTORS WANTED

Now that Winter is settling upon our lands, we wish to fill several
vacancies on the Staff of Directors for the Medieval Fair.  The Directors,
under the stewardship of The Triad, are responsible for the various aspects
of The Ansteorran Embassy and all the preparations that go with it.  Working
as a team The Directors and in certain positions their Coordinators, along
with The Triad share ideas and input from the Populace with each Director
taking charge of their area of responsibility, be it Fighting, Arts &
Sciences, Entertainment, Logistics and so forth.  

 

Yes, a Directorship can be challenging duty but with it comes the rewards
and excitement of contributing to The Embassy and our continued success at
the Fair.  And you'll have fun along the way, trust me.  You will never be
lost or overwhelmed as the other Directors, The Triad and our wonderful
Populace will always be there to help.  

 

For our newer members or those who have never taken the task of planning an
Event, this is a perfect opportunity to contribute.  And I'll go out upon a
limb and say the Medieval Fair is the largest Demonstration Event any SCA
group in North America participates in.  Be part of the fun and excitement
and consider becoming one of our Directors.
