First thing sorry about some technical difficulties with posting meeting
notes till 4 days after meeting...

That said there was a lot said and planned so to get it all started here
are the notes...

The garage sale on the 16th made $310 for the families affected by the
tornadoes.
Next we have a site for Open A&S being setup at Cleveland County
Fairgrounds in Norman, with 40% paid by barony funds and rest will be paid
by benefactors of the populace and pass the hat combinations.  We encourage
people to come out once we announce start date.  We also appreciate in
advance any one who uses this Open A&S to help further the visual aid to
the community as a whole to help fund this project.  1 dollar a person
would go a long way if each person going did the same.

Congrats to Carl ( I'm sorry I forgot your SCA name) as being officially
our new thrown weapons marshal!

Archery is set to resume Labor Day at Miss Kylie's new property.  That
being said, we are planning to put a new shed out at that land to house
combat gear for the Barony -archery, list fields, so on.  We are looking to
find the best fit building for the price and site that we can.  Any
suggestions should be ready to present Sept 1st to be voted on at populace.

As of September Kylie will be opening her position of herald to submissions
to fill position when it becomes open again.  It is a ways off but Mama Cat
will be doing the same Oct 2014, both are willing to start teaching their
job to interested successors now if you find time to work with them.

Find us Demo opportunities!

Sat. Oct 19th in Amarillo there is a fighter/rapier demo at a history fair
for a local school there.  this may be the last year so lets go out in
force and show them all that we do so maybe the kids can keep this event.

Upcoming melee events War of Ages, Border March, Winter Wars, and 3 things.

There is a rapier college this weekend and Rapiers and Romance on the 6th
and 7th of Sept.

Still waiting on kingdom info to find out if we will be having Royal
Huntsman at Protectorate.  Either way there will be a planning meeting on
Monday Sept 9th.
There will be  crown presence so get that fancy court gear and sitting
pillows ready...every one as always is watching us so show them why Namron
ROCKS!

Over all we are dominating any where we go, anything we make, and anything
we assist. to the end of keeping that happening in the long term we have
great long timers and so many new people we need to make sure as a whole we
transition newer people who show interest into playing on a baronial level
so that they might stick around longer.  our middle ground people being
very slim, lets keep the newer people interested and keep them for life.

Next officer meeting is "Bring your Deputy" week, bribes have been issued
for this challenge, and remember the guy only shot the sheriff the deputy
is safe.

Axeman is coming up, if you have a group or a following of people, clan,
herd, squad whatever bring them and represent Namron.  Any cooks looking to
showoff or teach at Axeman, get with the autocrat Aubrey to setup your time
and space to use, I was told Wednesday the have extra camp stoves and
pavilion for cooks so space is not an issue.

Some insane person actually said they thought our A&S was slipping.  I
think that's a crock... but easily fixed, get out there and start crafting,
building, brewing, sculpting, weaving, spinning, or whatever trade you own
and show the rest of the kingdom the reason we are on top!

Reminder about facebook - careful what you post if worst case scenario it
can be used against the SCA as a whole if promises, claims, or accusations
are made and taken into the wrong ways, so just be careful not to post
things that might cause harm to us as a whole.

.....and as I said I would reminder ....C3PO will be with us at court for
protectorate... hope that keeps you chuckling- if unsure about what that
means ask an officer to explain.
