[Namron] Social Media Deputy Position Announcement

[Seneschal of Namron]

The Barony of Namron is accepting applications for a Social Media Deputy to
the Seneschal through 7 May 2020 at 9 p.m. CST.

The Social Media Deputy is a Deputy to the Seneschal; the Deputy will
develop and execute a Social Media strategy, and serve as chief
administrator of our official Social Media platforms. Applicants must be
familiar with, or willing to become familiar with, SCA, Kingdom, and
Baronial Social Media Policies & Best Practices. Experience with Facebook
Pages, Facebook Groups, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter administration,
as well as a familiarity with each platform's culture, is desirable.

Experience evaluating analytics and developing strategies to build
engagement is desired, but not necessary. Training specific to the role
will be provided. The Social Media Deputy will frequently coordinate with
the Landed Nobility, Seneschal, Calendar Events Deputy, and Webminister.
The Social Media Deputy will also support and advise Baronial Officers in
their Social Media endeavors.

Applicants must possess excellent command of written English, be able to
consistently manage a regular posting schedule, and exhibit fairness when
adjudicating appropriate content. Effective communication skills within a
broad and diverse population are vital to this role. Dependable access to a
computer or connected mobile device will be necessary.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Applicants must have a current paid Sustaining or Family Membership in the
SCA, with immediate access to the Black Star, whether online or in print.

Applicants should be available to provide regular updates for both the
monthly Populace and Business Meetings.
